Pre-diabetes is the general term we give to either impaired fasting glucose or impaired glucose tolerance.  It indicates a condition when your blood glucose levels are higher than normal but not quite high enough to be diagnosed with diabetes yet.  Our dietitian can provide diet and lifestyle advice to help delay the progression into diabetes.
